Welcome to The Castle...
The Castle is situated in a prominent position just a minute walk from the railway station & a few minutes walk from the historical town centre of Berwick-upon-Tweed, with many places of interest, both in town & the surrounding areas.
There is a wide selection of leaflets at the hotel reception to help you decide where to spend your time while in Berwick-upon-Tweed.
The Castle boasts of a bit of history of its own as the Artist L. S. Lowry used to stay there on his frequent visits to Berwick, there he would sit & sketch in the Bar area.
If you want to relax why not have a drink in the newly refurbished Castle Bar. It is very comfortable with sofas & armchairs to help you unwind.
In the winter months the bar has the added attraction of log fires to warm yourself by.
Whilst relaxing why not try one of the variety of wines available, plus there is always Real Ales on offer.
